Alisha’s wittiness bought her the victory over Jahnvi in the Girls U12 Badminton Quarter Finals

Alisha Vs Jahnvi

The game started with Alisha serving and scoring first point. After a missed drop shot, the game equalised at 1:1. Jahnvi scored the next point with well taken shot and returned the favor with a missed drop shot.

Alisha scored 3 quick points with a fierce smash. After dropping another point, there was a good rally to make score 6:3. She then went on a marathon run of points nabbing in perfect drop shots along with powerful smashes to make score 17:3.

Only one point was dropped before Alisha nabbed the game 21:4.

The second set started in same fashion with Alisha dominating the proceedings. Set equalised at 2:2 after two failed drop attempts but Jahnvi put the shuttle outside in the next service. In almost same fashion as in first set, Alisha ran away with it combining immaculately timed drop shots. Jahnvi didn’t have much luck as she made few unforced errors.  The service was changed with 18:5 in favour of Alisha. After dropping two more points, the set and game was won by her.

Match won by Alisha. 21-4, 21-7.
