Under 8-12 Girls.
Venue: Dharavi Sports Complex, 22/11/17.
The Rhythmic Gymnastics Tournament was being played with 4 prop acts for U-12, one freehand and 2 prop acts for U-10, one freehand and one rope act for U-8.
Props: Rope, Club, Hoop, Ball.
U-12 Girls: Chinmayi Deshpande from Balmohan Vidyamandir bagged 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze with a confident hold and movement of rope and ball, good control with hoop and club, amid neat use of spaces. Riya Vbhe from The Dadar Parsee Youth got one better with 2 Golds and 2 Silver. She showed good handling with hoop and club amid some creative flairs. Precise movement, control with rope and ball saw her bag silver in both events. Swara Ghogle of The J.B. Vacha High School managed 3 Bronze and 1 Silver.
U-10 Girls: Trisha Kotle of Convent Girls High school secured 1 Silver and 2 Bronze. Vanessa Thackar of Bombay Scottish bagged 2 Gold and Maitreyee Kasle of Little Angels High School got 1 Gold. Dalvi Pradnya of Balmohan Vidyamandir managed 2 Silver.
U-8 Girls: Sasha Shanbaug of Bombay Scottish bagged 2 Gold, Naisha Jain of Marble Arch School and Tanishi Chandan managed 1 Silver and 1 Bronze each.
