Anushree Janakiraman is playing football since 2014. She was earlier interested in Athletics but her sister introduced her to football. She is being coached at the Bravehearts football school. Last year, her school RSB Arya Vidyamandir (Bandra) won the MSSA U/12 girls football tournament. This year they defended the title successfully, With Anushree scoring 15 goals & winning the title of the highest goal scorer in the tournament. Her favourite footballer is Lionel Messi and also her sister Anagha who has trained & played in the junior football league in Netherlands. Her goal is to represent India National women’s football team.
