After electing to bat first, G. D. Somani’s attack hit a wall, which was Moin Khan. The right-arm pacer was swerving and swinging with such ferocity that the highest scorer, Parth, could only reach 7 runs. Jainam, Varad Aryan and Virendra got out for a duck.
Farhan Shaikh accompanied Moin, with his 3 wickets and giving only 6 runs. After toiling for about 1 and half hour, G. D. Somani were all out for 35 in 17.3 overs. Saad Sheikh and Faizan Rabani made light work of bowlers as they raced to a meagre total of 35 in 3.3 overs with Saad hitting 22 and Faizan contributing 10.
