India get back in the game!

With the series decided, there could be a few changes that we see in the playing Indian XI’s. Australia will have to make a forced change as Warner is out injured and Darcy Short will come into the squad. However I think Mathew Wade will play in the XI. Where he bats is another point of conjecture. I have a feeling Labuschagne will open and Wade will bat in the middle. Australia might also rest Hazelwood or Cummins. But knowing the Aussies they will want to make it 3-nil to gain the psychological edge going into the T20 and Test series.
India will also give rest to Bumrah or Shami or both and bring in Shardul and Natarajan. Their batting order will remain the same. All the batters have looked in tremendous nick and if India were chasing 30 to 40 runs lesser in each game, they would have really fancied their chances of winning comfortably. The Indian bowling is a major worry but I feel they will come to terms with the Australian pitches soon. They soon need to have a plan for Finch, Smith and Maxwell.

Traditionally India have been slow starters in tours to Australia but this is the game when they need to get back into winning ways. They seem to have come to terms with the bounce and pace of the wickets even though there was a comment from Iyer in the media saying that the practise wickets were very different to the match wickets.

All in all, another cracker of a game in store for cricket lovers !
